i had it all analysed already...
the following are the type of gifts kids of different grades give their teachers:
Primary 1s and 2s : They give you scraps of papers with their 'ATROCIOUS-almost cannot make anything out' handwriting accompanied by a beasty-looking face that is SUPPOSED to be yours..
Primary 3s : They somehow realise that papers or cards are not so good gifts after all...they try to get REAL PRESENTS for you....

worse still, from their homes... (i recalled when i was teaching in my previous contract sch, one kid gave me a clay ornament... it looks seriously ugly..
i really didnt wan to keep it, so i politely told her it looks Expensive and i cant keep it... and guessed what she said??

The upper Primarys : They get things YOU really need like markers, pens and stuff, hahaa.....
so, would u rather teach lower primary or upper primary kids? hehe
anyway, teachers are not supposed to accept any gifts from kids..it's a form of bribery, they say....
