Wore my new jacket today :)
I got it from KissJane at Parco Bugis. It is made of tweed and in my opinion, a tweed jacket instantly glams up any outfit.

This is one of the best looking tweed jackets i've seen so far. Love the colour cos it brightens up my complexion.
The black tweed jacket i got from MDS is another love :) but the sleeves are longer and material is so much thicker. Still very nice :)

This is more suited for Singapore's climate.

happy that i can be back blogging on a more regular basis.

Can't really blame my old laptop for the lack of updates, but it was work that kept me really, really, really, reallllllllly busy.
I'm so glad September is coming to an end soon.
At least in the last quarter, we could relax alil :) *fingers crossed*

Last Saturday was such a blessed day. It was a miracle, cos God sent an angel to 'save' me, haha..
I'm so thankful to the Lord!
What can i say? That if u desire in your heart to honour God, God will honour u back.

Was in a zilian mood today.
Used 美图秀秀 to edit my photo, wahaha.. was having a good hair day, hehe


And when i was on my way home, something really disgusting happened. haha

I took a bus to Marymount station before taking the train back home. Decided to visit the toilet at the station. When i came out of the toilet, i rushed for the train which was departing.
Managed to get a seat in the train and when i plopped myself down onto it, i suddenly realised there was something stuck onto the front of my blouse.
And there RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE was a black lizard staring back at me!!!
F**K!!!!!!
i tell u, i freaked out and grabbed the lizard off my top and flung it right onto the train floor.
and that lizard crawled away!

OMG.

For that moment, i felt i had the dirtiest hand on earth!
and i shudder whenever i think of that cold, rubbery feeling ....in my hand.. ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I was so glad i wore my turtleneck top today!!!!!
Or else hor...... wah, i really dont want to think!

I HATE LIZARDS

Got a new laptop
in a yummy colour, hehe
It was love at first sight. Jayden accompanied me to Funan Digital Mall last week, and it was a decision made fairly quick.
 Cos whatever specifications does not really matter to me.
As long as the laptop can work properly without giving too much problems and, (most importantly) IT IS PRETTY can liao :)
blogging becomes happier cos it's in my fave colour and the speed is so much faster :)

Amazing. I got to know Sam from a clubbing website 5+ years ago. The same website i got to know Jayden, haha... It was such a coincidence we got to meet 5 years later at work, under the same boss somemore.

There were 4 dancers who were amazing! It was such a unique performance indeed!

Okay, F1 is about racing cars.... So took a few photos of the cars.
View wasn't too bad! hehe... but need to squeeze with alot of people lor.
 though it was only practice race, still it was quite fun experiencing the crowd, hot engines, deafening engine sounds etc.

Look at the crowd at Padang, awaiting the king of Pop, Jay Chou.
Jay Chou was scheduled for performance only at 11.15pm. This was the crowd at 10pm?
We bought a poncho so that we could sit on it on the grass to listen to Jay Chou....
But when it was 10.45pm, DUNNO WHAT THE FRONT PEOPLE SAW, they started standing and rushing towards the stage!
Singaporeans being Singaporeans, ALL JUST STOOD UP TOGETHER AND PUSHED THEIR WAY FORWARD!
For a moment, i seriously was worried there would be a stampede! WHATEVER VIEW WAS THUS BLOCKED :(
and mind you, there was still a good half an hour before Jay Chou would come out. I did not think i could tahan just standing among thousands of sweaty people and not being able to see anything on the stage.

I asked Sam if he was interested to continue waiting for Jay Chou, he said, "Jay Chou only mah. u wan i lend u his mp3?"
hahaa...
I was quite relieved by his answer, so we left the place for HOME! YAY!!!! i need some aircon!!!!!!

On our way to the MRT station, we walked past this place infront of Esplanade.
WAH! The view is damn good and NO NEED TO SQUEEZE LIKE MAD!
We stayed here to watch awhile more before heading back.

Yeah. First time being able to enter the F1 zone. Even though it was practice race and it's a walk-about ticket, still, it was quite an experience :)

No i didn't get a new laptop today. Instead, i came right back home after work for dinner :)
im going to search for one during the weekends with Jayden.

Today the laptop is slightly more responsive than last night. Hopefully, i can finish blogging before 11.30pm so that i can go hit the sack liao.

I was blogging half-way about the POSB Passion run for Kids 2012 last Sunday.
We set off at 3+, reached Marina Promontory at 4.30am.
Feeling so groggy!

Assembled at the Volunteer Tent, marked attendance and was each given a breakfast set of sandwiches, cake and Milo.

We were briefed of our roles at 5am and each of us went to our rightful location of duty.
My colleagues and i were stationed at the Kid's Route as Marshals. Basically, it's just to ensure the kids run within the route and to prevent any adults from crossing the running area.

The first race started at 7am, so there is a good 1.5 hours to sit and wait....

They shiok lor.. run all the way till Gardens by the Bay and back. The first runner came back like 15 minutes?!! Super fast!

I'm lacking alot of sleep.... sometimes i feel like i will drop dead anytime. Dunno why, but it's true. I do not know how long my body can tahan anymore. keke

Yesterday (Sunday) was "POSB PAssion Run for Kids 2012" held at the Marina Promontory.

I volunteerd to help out and my branch service staff & i were deployed as marshals at the Kid's Route.

You won't believe what time we had to set off.
3 plus in the morning! cos the shuttle bus would pick us up at 3.45am.

Me at 3am...

Only managed to catch around 3 hours of very light sleep :(
but was very excited! hehe

i'm sorry i had to stop abruptly.

My computer is also going to crash anytime soon. It's getting extremely slow now.... i would have finished blogging by 9.30pm just now. It's 11.58pm now -_-
Basically, I am waiting and waiting and waiting for pages to load, photos to be transferred from my iPhone... and pages kept getting unresponsive etc.
I swear the speed is slower by 100 times and i'm not kidding. One wrong click of the mouse equates to waiting 10 minutes to go back to the page.

i'm sorry i had to continue the rest of the entry another day. The page is not loading at all. Even when i'm typing now, nothing comes out until 5 minutes later!
SIGH SUPER PEK CHECK!
tomorrow i'm going to buy a new laptop!!!!!!

Terribly sorry for the lack of updates. I miss blogging soooooooo much :_(
i myself is tired of saying i'm too busy at work, haha.. It's the last month to chiong and hopefully, the last quarter means i don't have to slog so hard anymore.

Another thing that discourages me from blogging is the slow laptop.
i have to wait 10 minutes for it to start up, and transferring photos from my camera takes 30 minutes.
The thought of sacrificing sleep when i'm already so worn out just deters me from switching on my computer to do anything.
Maybe it's time to change a new one? It has been 7-8 years?

i bought new coloured contact lenses last week from a optical shop next to where i work.
I've been wearing the ones bought online. Those GEO lenses which can be worn for a year.
Many have discouraged me from continuing to wear those, as the source is dubious and wearing the same pair of lens for ONE whole year doesn't sound very hygienic.
Actually i'm not really affected, but then on the other hand, maybe i should really choose to avoid the risk of having an eye infection altogether. I don't think i wanna become blind just because i wanna save a few dollars to buy cheap lenses online.

To cut the long story short, i bought Freshkon Fusion lenses.

Was choosing among the brown ones, and i got 2 pairs of lens in Hippie Chestnut.

No, i don't think they look good on me ;(
i prefer my GEO lenses....

i got such a shock when i saw how they look when i put them on.
Look like vampire. snake?  (maybe it doesnt look that bad in this photo. But in real-life, i look scary to me)
Anyway, i'm gonna try another colour after 2 months. Or maybe switch back to Freshlook. At least, now i'm assured that the risk of an eye infection is minimised.

Oh yah, i permed my hair again!!!!
i'm so excited. hehe....
The last time i permed my hair (cold perm), the effect wasn't that obvious. I have friends coming to ask me, "Aey? i thought you went to perm your hair?"
SAD.

This time round, Dylan assured me that it would be more obvious. He used Hot perm now.. the name i can't remember.. Not digital perm. but digital-something-something perm. *shrugs
Love the effect, cos the effect is like using CURLING TONGS!!!!!
