i've not blogged for 5 days. haha.. there's nothing much to do. i spent my holiday watching taiwan dramas on mysoju.com, haha.

and i'm having a bad case of PMS :( got a couple of times i started blogging a few words, end up i didnt feel like talking, so i logged out.

..wan to come, hurry up come la.. making me moody and irritable :(

or perhaps i have too much time in my hands, i dunno how to utilise it well. i wish school starts quickly :(
i wonder if PMS really can make women moody, or it's just our excuse to go crazy once in a month? blaming it all on the syndrome without being responsible for our actions?

anyway,
i met jayen for the Twilight movie after his work in the evening today. He still needs to work on a public holiday, poor thing. He's working so hard every single day. Jiayou baby, i'm very proud of you =)




i decided to be very nice today so i prepared his favourite snacks and cut fruits.

after that, i bought chicken skewers, cup corn and 2 HappyVeg crisps, collected our tickets before he arrived.

and that poor boy kena my PMS instantly when he reached! heh!
When he commented that the queues for the drinks were too long and happily said that there was 'kacang puteh' to buy, I SNAPPED.

tell u why,
man says, "the queues for the drinks are too long"
PMS woman hears,"why u never buy drinks first? see. now have to waste time queuing"

man says, "got kacang puteh to buy"
PMS woman hears, "i dont care what food u've prepared. i only want to eat those kacang puteh THERE"

okay. i'm totally ridiculous i know.

and he didnt even know that i've brought food along.
so he's clueless why i was so upset.
my bad.

but he just smiled and said, "u PMS ar?"and quickly disappeared to the gents, leaving me sulking and time for me to feel guilty for snapping unreasonably.
sometimes i just like how jayen behaves. he's cool with not being overly concerned or sensitive with trival stuff until u feel like u're hanging out with a girl. He's strong and yet, he can also be so emotional, protecting our love so fiercely.

anway, the Twilight show bored me to tears.
and jayen just slept the whole half of the movie.
There isnt like any climax to the storyline anywhere in the movie. Perhaps it was due to it being just PART 2 of the whole saga.

i just realised my hedgehog (virtual pet) in my blog has 离家出走!

i was a good girl today. i went to church in the morning :)
it has been so long since i last visited church, sigh... cos i have been very lazy to wake up on sundays.
and sundays were the times i could sit together with my family for lunch.
moreover i dont like to talk to people at church cos i can be such an introvert. i only want to go and worship God, that's all.


this morning when i was walking from my house to the MRT station, a car pulled over by the roadside. The window was wound down and the driver called out to me. It was a bespectacled 40+old uncle. i just stood at the curb waiting for him to speak up but he beckoned me to come closer, so i did, thinking he was hard of hearing or something.
he asked, "do you know where is Serangoon Tower?"
i never heard of it, so i said no. He just smiled.
Then i continued, "is it a condo or something?" and he said, "ya, ya.."
so i said "no" again. and he continued to ask, "Are u a singaporean?"and smiled very weirdly.
you know that kind of tiko smile.
SICK.
felt something was amiss so i quickly walked away.
do i look like a chingchong or something? My gut feeling was that he isnt asking for directions at all. i just know it from his smile.
where got people ask directions ask until ur nationality one. Maybe la..if somebody ask u where is AngMoKio and u tell them u duno, maybe they will think u not singaporean or what -_-
but serangoon tower? what tower! i live here so long also never see any tower. anyway, i just googled to make sure i wasnt wrong, and there really isnt any condo named Serangoon tower lor -_-

maybe i abit over-react here la.. but i just know i felt quite sick after talking to him.
the way people look at u, sometimes u will feel like tat.
so girls out there, always trust ur gut feelings and always protect urselves.

A Christmas Carol in 3D!!!

Iluma's 3D glasses are the best. though they slip off once in awhile, it's not as bad when i watched Cloudy in 3D the last time. i cant remember which theatre but their glasses are damn heavy and too big for me. i had to put an eraser on my nose to balance the glasses!

but at least, i had an umbrella. i saw a few youngsters running in the rain today.
These few days have been rainy, i wonder why they can still leave their umbrellas at home.
but then, i was once like them. i think bring umbrella very auntie. Only geeks do that.
but it's the aunties who will scoff at you when u get stranded at some shelter.

so bring ur umbrellas!

and offer to share it with the right person.
Last time, when i was a nerd, i had a kind heart. (i still do!)
i think offering to share umbrellas with people are one of the kindest things to do.
i remember i was on my way home when it was raining so heavily. i saw this girl walking hastily towards me. she didnt have an umbrella and was drenched from head to toe. i thought i should really be very kind to her by offering to shelter her to the nearest void deck or something.
so when she walked past me, i stopped her. and i asked if she wanted to share my umbrella. But the thing is, i was damn shy (last time) so i spoke super soft. she didnt quite get me and replied a 'huh?"
so i inched closer and my umbrella sort of tilted towards her and to my horror, all the accumulated rainwater from it flowed down like a constant stream down her whole face!
omg.
i tell u she was damn pissed and i quickly ran away.

the moral of the story:
offer to share your umbrella only with those who are not already wet.


anyway, i'm quite irritated with someone.

it's actually one acquaintance who have bought my textbook but didnt pay up!

this guy texted me asking if i could sell him one textbook (from uni)
we fixed a date and time to meet up in sch one evening.
he said he will transfer the money to me.
he texted me last min that he couldnt make it when i reminded him earlier that day.
i told him i already brought the book out (it is very heavy lor, u think very fun to carry one stupid textbook ard to my work ar! and my work is not sit in office one, have to travel like mad lor)
so he got no choice but to come get the book from me in the evening. but he drives. he say he will transfer the cash to me the next day.
i didnt get the cash after 1 week.
i msged him.
and he still has the nerve to ask me who i am. NVM. i told him who i was and he said now exam period, after exam period then transfer to me. he didnt even apologise. like i owe him like tat!
ok fine. i take his word for it.
anyway,
i have still yet to get the money from him. FYI, exams finished 6 Nov!

i give up liaooo..
i know i should be calling and asking him to pay up instead of whining here, BUT i really hate hate hate to go after people for the money they owe me. Call it pride whatever. i think very 'diu lian' to keep asking people to return me the money.
they should remember it what! what? Conveniently forget ar! busy everybody also busy what.
it's really not an excuse!

Last year, i joined a spree to get 2009 diary planners from Korea together with kaya and her other little frens. Zen too! we bought one diary each for 20+ dollars cos the pages inside are really beautiful. Pricey and i ended up not really using it much cos the weekly pages abit weird... comes in 4 columns instead of 7.. so i couldn't present one week's schedule in a view.. aiyah. duno what i'm saying... but u just cannot see the whole week in a glance.

NEED TO CURB that spending!

i stayed at home the whole day during the weekends.

but sneaked out for a midnight movie last night.
we caught paranormal activity @ AMK hub.
hate it.
really hate it, cos i couldnt sleep the whole night!
i was so scared, though i know i shouldnt even be, but i kept thinking about it... and the worst thing is, the so-called paranormal activity happens in a bedroom..

damn.
i snuggled under my blanket and was hugging my carebear and that black cat the whole night just to feel safer, but it didnt help.
End up, i woke up with dark eye rings in the morning and slept in the afternoon instead.

and the pain in my neck is killing me.
isnt my new pillow supposed to help me sleep better? i tried positioning it properly but the pain became worse each passing day. i tah all the ko-yoke i could find in my house.. salonpas, tokuhon, yoko yoko....
and now, not only the pain did not go off, my neck feels abit swollen.

work ended at 1pm and before heading home, i decided to stock up my necessities.
i bought 2 boxes of contact lens solution, which came with a free bag and 4 small travel-size solutions :D (but expiring soon! :( but its free, i dont think i can complain or bring it back to change? anyway, i'm certainly able to finish them before 2010)

then i restocked my Clairol's Hair Treatment Mask. Essential is nice, but i think only Clairol's long r/s hair mask can save my terribly fried ends :(
i bought a serum from Dr Wu's for jayen, some packets of wet tissue and was contemplating to buy those cute santa hat hairclips for christmas. i remember seeing those mini hats that people were clipping on their hairs last chirstmas, it's super cute. So, they're selling them at Watsons.. if u are thinking of getting it
but then, i decided that i should just save the money. even though it costs only $1.95, haha.

cos i saw this similar one at a pushcart in Sengkang Rivervale Plaza.
Seriously lor! That pushcart, BESIDE THE WET MARKET, sells all kind of bags and clothes.
and i was lucky to spot it in the morning yesterday (their bags very fast gone one.. and never restock back the same.. last week was Agnes B! haha!! and were selling like hotcakes! i didnt buy cos the designs didnt appeal to me abit.

ok, back to my pink loot.
the lady at the pushcart said i can buy it for $29.
(in my heart i was feeling very happy cos it was much cheaper than the same one selling at FEP for 79 dollars!)
but the 'auntie-me' came out again and i bargained for lesser when i saw that it was abit stained (can be cleaned though) and was told it was the only piece when i asked for a new one.
the lady said she would discount a 2 dollars.
Then i scrutinised the bag further and pointed out more faults, haha! I asked for $25 and the lady finally relented =)

i super cannot stand myself! i'm so auntie lor! But only auntie then can get better bargains, haha
