i'm starting to wonder what's wrong with me...

careless, VERY blur and EXTREMELY accident-prone...
HAIZ :(

slipped and fell IN MY OWN kitchen yesterday morning. i was rushing cos i was already late for church.
fyi, church service starts 11a.m. and IM STILL AT HOME at 11.10a.m. cos i was busy blogging, hahhaha.....FOR THE SAKE OF YOU ALL LA, hahhaha....no lar, i woke up late -_-

anyway, my mom was mopping the floor in the kitchen and my granny calling out to me, trying to 'catch' me before i slipped out of the house without drinking her 'TONIC SOUP'...
so when i rushed into the kitchen, i slipped on the soapy water and before i knew it, my butt hit hard on the ground -_-

OUCH

when u get older, u really cannot afford to fall down u know...

i didn't really cared which part of my body was in pain, cos there was only one thing in my mind --> I AM LATE FOR CHURCH.

i've got no time to lose..so i hurried out of the house, hailed a cab..

and it was only when i was on the cab when i really had TIME to FEEL the pain coming. heh..
i realised i had a big swollen bump on my shin,
a bruise on my elbow and when i removed my right shoe (cos it was hurting),
i got a shock outta my life!!!

.

after church, limped to his place and he bandaged three of my toes for me

heeee....

and he started singing "Mary had a little fall, little fall..."
-_-

shut up....

i've enough of my colleagues in school calling me MARY.

as to why they call me Mary.... hmmm, story another time!
i've got an exam paper to set now.

it just feels weird not having my camera with me..

HAIZ...
and to think im such a zi lian person, it feels that a part of me has gone missing.

went MOS with kiyomi, virgie and yaz last night to support the SensualJoy dancers @ the FHM Girl Next Door Finals..
were happily taking photos of the PRETTY finalists and swooning at the male HOT models when the four of us were asked by Joy to go up on stage to support (READ: calafare..) our dancers just by sitting 'pretty' at the edge of the stage.
it was quite a last minute thing and
in that mad rush, i chucked my camera and cards into my bag, left it with the rest of the bags at our table and ran to the backstage with the girls... a row of guys were leaning against the bar counter and saw all that commotion.

after the dance,
a mere 3 minutes.

i went back to the table to retrieve my stuff, i couldnt find my bag!
i remembered specifically leaving it on my shoebox between the goodie bag and the rest of the bags so i thought it's well kept (or hidden?) ...and with the rest of the girls at the table, i thought it would be safe..

who knows.

Gene immediately alerted the securities when kiyomi, virgie and yaz helped look for my bag in vain.
and in half an hour's time, we received a call from the securities that my bag was found IN THE MALES' TOILET!

some guy has actually stolen my bag from the table without the knowledge of the girls.
but never did he realise the surveillance cameras were pointing straight at him.. and caught him right in the act.

i was asked to go to the control room to 'ren shi'... (to see if i could recognise the culprit)

i didn't know the man. but from the tape, i could see he had a friend who actually helped 'da feng' at the side...
i saw him take my bag from the table, turned to see if there was anyone looking at him, and then left together with his accomplice.

the good news was...
he didnt take my important cards or house keys..
just the camera, ezlink and some cash...

PHEW, my make up case was still intact :D
-_-

okieee...
i know i'm sounding very blonde here..

but i missed my camera so much... :(
dad bought it for me a year ago...and the best thing was,
the lenses can be rotated wor....can ZI PAI!
SO COOL

*sob sob....

all my photos :_(
*die lah....later tat thief sees my 10 minute home-made porn video how?

anyway it was my fault for not leaving my belongngs at the lockers...
it would definitely be more secure there...

anyway,
i was feeling so upset...
it was so late already and there isnt a single cent on me..
Gene was very nice, she paid for my cab fare...

dear was around my place when i reached home...so he accompanied me to the nearest police post to make a police report...
and the young policeman who attended to us was SO HELPFUL lor...
we reckoned it must be the one hundredth time he assisted someone in the typing of the police report for lost item in that single day,
cos his attitude was unbelievably BO CHAP (alittle more than jay chou's) and definitely a hundred times more sickening...

or maybe he got out from the wrong side of his bed that morning..

but he excused his apathetic attitude with a mere, "i dont wan to give you all false hopes in that the culprit would be caught."

Ya....we know the chances are very slim, but then MOS has captured the man on CCTV and a cleaner who claimed to be able to recognise him, u mean it's not enough an evidence to put that thief on criminal record?
he explained that the police will investigate, but unless we nab him red-handed or he has had already a criminal record, there's no way we could trace him down...

then u mean a rapist can just go on raping people as long as he covered his tracks well and isnt caught red-handed...there's no way the police could nab him because he didnt have a criminal record?!
and the policeman replied, "Yes."

and because of this, the 2 men (my bf and the policeman) started a rather heated debate...
-_-

while i was sitting in between with a (-_-') face, thinking "omg...pls get this over and done with. it's 1 a.m. in the morning already..."

it ended when..

him: "the point is not whether we get the stolen things back..the point is.. u all cant do anything but let the culprit continue with his deeds UNTIL he's being caught in the act?"

policeman: "Yah. and we wont be able to find him... if he doesnt have a record with us. we cant just dust ur bag for fingerprints or trace him through the cctv tape."

him: "so, what IF it was LKY who actually lost the bag?"

policeman: "then of cos, things would be different.."

him: ".... so the system is just fu*ked up."

yah....and he could be sued for that...
fancy telling that to a police man IN A POLICE STATION lor....
hahaa

haiz....dunno what he thinking also, haha
but i appreciate him accompanying me there without the slighest grumble..

*anyway, i was lying abt the porn video in my camera..
no porn lar, only got some xotic dance moves taken during training.
dance until SO LAN LOR.....

just back from my second pole lesson @ SensUal Joy, buahahhaa....

i honestly prefer it to Exotic cos it seems more challenging to me... u know u feel MORE SHIOK when u get the hang of it :D
it's really, really NOT easy.

hopefully after more lessons, i can succeed in 'climbing' up the pole, heh...
cos now i'm can only make it up mere millimetres from the ground..

DARN!
my ARMS are SO WEAK!

joy, our instructor had to say ,"Peimin hah....u better start going to the gym ahh..."
:S *gulp*

met him for dinner before my dance class..
finally we could both enjoy each other's company once again...
the last few weeks were hell...went through a rough patch.... nearly broke up..

HAIZ
there's so much ironing out to do...

dunno why i kept having the fear of our future... he doesnt talk about planning for marriage and all... and that leaves me very insecure..
u know, im NOT YOUNG anymore.. *getting my IC checked everytime i enter clubs DOESNT EQUATE to me being young. The REALITY is, im already in my mid-twenties (almost lor... SUPER SIAN)

and I DEFINITELY DON'T WAN TO BE LEFT ON THE SHELF!!!

i dunno why im like so paranoid not being able to get married -_-

TSK.

anyway, i bought a necklace!! WAHAHHAHHAA :D
it has green wooden nuggets interspersed with silver trinkets

this is how you can ZI LIAN with a new necklace, hahhaha..

i get rather disturbed when such things happen.

we're living on the second floor and on the first, a family of 4 lives there. Their teenage daughter has her bedroom window in direct view (and in close proximity) from a semi-detached house opposite our apartment.
Every morning when i get ready for work, it will still be very dark and whatever lights we on in the house can be seen very clearly from outside. And that also equates to WHATEVER we do inside the house to be in full view from outside the window.

so what happened was, there was this one time i walked past and the lights in that girl's bedroom was on. I found a man from that semi-d house standing at the garden facing our apartment. i thought he was looking at something since he wasnt really doing anything else. i turned and got a glimsp of what he was staring at.
the teenage girl was in the buff, getting ready to change into her school uniform.

WHAT THE HELL.....!!!

so now i know what that sickening uncle is drooling over!!!
HE'S SOOOO SICK!!!!!!

i got very disturbed after that. i didnt know the family personally and i dont know if i should warn the girl.

most of the mornings when i walked past her bedroom after that incident, the lights weren't on, so i didnt do anything about it.

..until yesterday morning
when i walked past the house, the lights in her bedroom were on again. i turned to check if there're any peeping toms from that house opposite again.
and THERE i saw that SAME OLD Cheekoh Peh, now SITTING ON the dining table, looking across into her bedroom!

please la, who on earth would sit on their dining tables for nothing? Must be enjoying SOME SCENERY from there la....
everyday he must be sitting there, watching that fair young thing change out of her pyjamas and into her school uniform (my sec sch somemore lor! the more i fumed at the thought of it!) and daily experiencing his big-time orgasms (since deprived) thru it!

FU*K HIM !

and then... He realised he was spotted.
i was so disgusted i showed him THE finger.

i was so tempted to ring the doorbell of my neighbour when i came back from work in the evening.
i told my grandma about it and the first thing she said was, "Don't mind other people's business la."
i was like, "WHAT? and let that dirty old man continue his dirty deed every morning?! It's a young girl he's looking at lehh...not some old wrinkly auntie...."
not say old aunties then they deserved to be peeped at la...but then, my grandma was telling me that some girls very HIAO one....purposely seduce the men....

-_-

please lor... i dont think it's true la...
maybe got Beckam living opposite then possible la... but an OLD UNCLE?!?!??
i rather drink dettol than seduce him

anyway, i was quite certain im gonna go down and tell the girl.
and my grandma started saying, "Better dont start any trouble...what if her father hears of it, he's gonna go over and KILL that man for peeping at his daughter. Then u'll be indirectly the cause of the murder.. worse still, the man never die and come and take revenge on YOU."

-_-

my ahma quite imaginative also hor...
she still can say,"You never watch those chinese drama serial meh? that's what always happen...."

i think she watch more than me lor....

my dad who overheard us said, "The best thing is to just tell the girl to be more careful and draw the curtains whenever she changes lor."

hmmm....guess that should do.

still, I HATE CHEE KOH PEKS!!!!!!
anyway,
ALL men are... buahaha

went Career Fair 2006 @ Suntec with kelvin after that.
we were thinking of upgrading ourselves..

somehow, i dont know exactly how much time i wasted in pursuing what i actually didnt want.. is it too late to amend? or should i stick to what i've already chosen in life
talked to a professor from SIM university at the career fair and for the first time, i felt there was finally someone who could actually 'connect' with me, understand what i was really passionate about and making me rethink of paving my own path for the future.

in the past, not one of the decisions i make in life were not 'approved' by my mom. i know she has my interest at heart, but in a way, i feel eveything's backfired the more she is overly protective of me.
she's controlling who and what i will become, and i had to shroud and put to death whatever passion i have so that i can have a 'safe' job, live a risk-free life... one that is 'politically correct' in the eyes of others...

i've always wanted to go into pre-school education.

since 9 years ago.
and still do now.

i took a diploma in Life Sciences instead of Early Childhood studies which my parents strongly disapproved of.
i graduated.

went for related job interviews.. but i never took them on.
Science has always been what im interested in..

Studying, but never working in that field

i love working with young children.
i wanted to take an advanced diploma in Early childhood studies. Instead, i went to NIE, studied for another 2 years and got myself bonded 3 more years as a Primary school teacher.
To date, i'm still serving my bond.
i've 1 more year to go.

the 'right' thing for me to do now is study part-time and get myself a degree.
and that will be so IF i have decided to continue staying in the teaching profession for many years to come.

a part time degree @ SIM takes 6 years to complete.
what is guaranteed at the end of it would of cos be monetary rewards --> a much higher pay than what im drawing now.

i no longer have my youth to waste.
it's either, i carry on and walk the path i'm SUPPOSED to,
or
revert back to the decision i should have made nine years ago.
to go with my passion to teach the pre-schoolers.

and that would translate to giving up a solid rice-bowl career, a reasonable pay and 5 more years of studies.
a pre-school educator can never earn as much as a pri-sch teacher.

the question is, would i give up all i'm having now to pursue what i really want in life?
and to survive on the most basic of things..
reality is cruel.

anyway, back to the professor from SIM..
he was explaining to me the different degree programmes when he stopped...
looked me in the eyes and said,

"My girl, are you sure you want to stay in teaching for the rest of your life?
Know your passion, pursue it and make the best out of it."

i wanted to cry.
nobody had told me that before.
not my parents, not anyone else...

im in a total dilemma.

i know my parents will always want the best for me.
but i have no one to blame except myself.
