12 Dec 2007 was also PAY DAY!!!!!!!
yipeeeee.....
set off from our homes to Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal for our ferry ride at 1105 in the morning.
it was a weekday thus not a peak period for visitors =)
HAPPY :D
we've heard stories of how singaporeans were being TOKed over at the resort with sky-high prices.. we were well-prepared with our own supply of food, snacks and drinks, hehe!
we even bought a bottle of red wine over, YAY!
boarded the ferry at 10 plus and had my 爱心 breakfast on board! :D
jayen had prepared honey-baked and blackforest ham sandwiches for me!!

YAY! we reached!!!
it was only a 45-min short ferry ride :)
the skies were gloomy and it was still drizzling.. but we were praying very very hard for sunny weather..
took the resort shuttle to Bintan Lagoon Resort :)
They had a dance performance by the locals and even presented us a glass of 'Welcome drink'.. think it's some lemon juice or something, i duno..
The check-in time was 3 in the afternoon, so we had around 2 hours to idle away...
:(
jayen went to buy a cup of EXPENSIVE VANILLA ICE-CREAM and some EXPENSIVE LIGHT SNACKS.
i knew clearly that the prices were exorbitant but we still went ahead to buy, haha..
damn 贱 right, haaa..
fyi, that glass of pepsi with an american pie costs SGD 13.50.. the pepsi is 7.50 bucks lor -_-
look at jayen's face.. that dio-TOKed expression, wahahaa..

spotted some couples waiting at the lobby with faces as gloomy as the sky -_-
we decided that no time should be wasted sitting around doing nothing, so we went exploring the vicinity =)
were damn happy when the sky cleared up!!!
look at the resort pool! so niceee...
they even have a place for shopping :D
but of cos, we bought nothing from there.
we went down to the beach and saw how LOVELY it was!
thank God that the rain has stopped and the sun was coming out!

soon, it was 3pm and we went over to the reception for our keycards and checked in to our room :)

jayen was still telling me he feels like booking into his army camp in Tekong..

we chose the Deluxe room over the superior room cos of the SEA VIEW!!!!!
superior room is see forest and trees one. we then dont wan -_-
we requested for the highest floor and we got it!
room is darn big!
Had no time to waste so we changed into our beach wear and off we set off to the beach again!

continued at the resort pool for more fun after we got tired of salty seawater getting into our eyes.
Fyi, he is trying to float on the water -_-
he looks like a dead log.
got hungry after a few hours of playing and we decided to wash up for dinner cos he was whining to eat at the outdoor grilled restaurant.
heh...
found out that the restaurant was very EMPTY with their staff swatting flies in there...
had a look at the menu and we knew why..
cos a 0.25kg of some stupid fish costs 48 dollars.

i rather eat my cup noodles.
but we ended up at the resort's restaurant instead.
had chicken piccata, cabonara linguine and tom yum gong soup
*SLURP!
it's rather ex too.. costs up to about 6o bucks.
walked around the resort to their leisure centre and saw this, haaa..
quite interesting! we got the security guard there to help us take a photo, heeee..
wahahhaa...
we went to book the spa after dinner and found out that there were empty slots at 730pm. yay!
treated jayen and myself to a well-deserved French Aromatherapy Massage for 99 bucks each. :)
It's supposed to increase blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, relax the muscles and calm the nerve system.

we booked the couple suite, keke...
it was jayen's first visit to a massage, he wanted to ask for an angbao -_-
in the suite, we were welcomed by two very sweet masseuses.
they handed us our towels, asked us to change into this disposable panty and lie at the bed.
jayen was darn shocked cos he didnt know he has to be naked

he was still bombarding me with all sorts of questions while i ignored him and got myself ready.
i was like, "aiyahhh... just 脱 and go lie there lar... -_- "
when the masseuses came in, he was even more very gan cheong.
the masseuse asked him to lie down and she wanted to remove the towel which he was covering himself with, but jayen held on to it for dear life! -_-
hahahhaa...
the masseuse looked at me amused and i just laughed out loud!
i just told her, "he's very shy lar.. he says he wants to cover that part."
the masseuse laughed and she said, "Dont worry sir. i wont look at ur penis (darn crude!!) or else your girlfriend will get angry!"
i laughed and waved back, "No lahhh! u can see, i dont mind one! ahhahhaa"
and jayen shouted back, "BUT I MIND!" and pulled his towel even higher.
by that time, the masseuse and him were pulling at the towel at each ends!
i was laughing my head off at that sight! he's so darn funny!!
the masseuse asked him, "why are you so shy, sir? why cannot take away the towel?"and jayen exclaimed back, "Cannot means Cannot Lar!!"
he was clearly stressed out, so the masseue had no choice but to say,"Okok.. i wont take away the towel. u can cover."
i cant believe he's so conservative!
heheeee....
next we got to choose which essential oils to use. i chose the Ylang Ylang while ah dear chose the Sandalwood.
the massage was quite nice, except we were feeling all ticklish at some point of time.
Anyway, the experience was darn amusing and we all had a good laugh, the masseuses and i.. except for that poor boy lar, keke...i think jayen was more stressed out than relaxed -_-
heh....
guess that's all for day 1 cos after the massage, we both knocked out immediately back in our room till the next morning.

Jayen woke up super early in the morning and him bumming around the room and balcony woke me up soon after. we washed up and went for the hotel's buffet breakfast which was included in our package :)
our initial plan was to have an early breakfast and then back to zzz again, hehe..
we were so so happy because God gave us good sunny weather again!!!!
HURRAY!
we were darn high!
hurried down to the hotel restaurant and we were one of the few early birds, heee..
we loved the great variety of food!
western, indian as well as chinese cuisines!
yummy yum yum!
after a fulfilling breakfast, we went out into the so-called 'beachfront gardens'..
i love the greenery too!
everything looks so well-maintained :)
we walked in the direction towards the sea and came across a mangrove swamp.
the resort actually offers a 'Mangrove Discovery tour' package which costs $59.80 for 2 -_-
siao! pay so much to discover a pool of mud...
proceeded further and reached the other side of the beach!

decided to throw out the idea of going back to the room for more zzz after breakfast cos the sun was out and we shouldnt be wasting such good weather cooping in our room!
we were wearing our pajamas so we got back to swathe ourselves in sunscreen and be properly attired before hitting the beach again!

jayen wanted to play too but it was too costly.. like SGD45 for a short 15 minutes!!

and the snokelling is SGD75 for 15 minutes.

never mind.. we play with the seawater is FRREEE one.. no need to pay anything also can have fun..
we lay on the beach and enjoyed the warm fine sand behind us, and cool sea waves gushing up from between our toes.
the morning sun was warm but not too unbearable.. but it got us roasted anyway, haha
i decided to relax on the nearby deckchairs while he continued playing in the sea.

adjourned to the pool after we had enough of the beach..
realised they actually have a pool bar in the middle of the pool!
this is so damn COOL lor!!

we ordered a cocktail, beer and chips!
we so so know how to enjoy life, hahaa!
after that we heard screams from some resort guests sitting by the pool.
Guess WHAT was swmming in the pool too?
GAWDD!
i definitely wont want to be swimming in the same pool as that lizard!! it's darn huge can!!
swam till late afternoon and we went back for cup noodles!
we were both so tired from the swim that we knocked out while watching National Geographic on TV...
woke around evening time..
went to the beach AGAIN after dinner. think we both fell in love with the beach, haha..
this time, it was already dark....
quite scary actually, hahaa..
we were both dressed for chilling out at their resort disco, Silk, cos they specifically stated there --> No undershirt (singlet) or slippers.
they had a live band singing for their guests that night and we can even send in our song dedications!
we wanted them to sing "Easy" by Paula DeAnda and "Stronger" by Kanye West.
but hor.... they never sing any of the songs we requested lehhh... kayu one....

plus there were only like 6 people in the entire club lor... -_-
jayen says "no business still wan to have dress code.. what no slippers no bermudes.. throw face only..."haaa...
but true lar -_-
had three drinks before we were both bored to tears... went back and sleep lar!
we initially wanted to extend another night's stay.. but the cost of one night was even more expensive than the whole 3D2N package we booked with our agency!!!

SUNNY AGAIN!!!! YIPEEEEEE........
woke early again for a nice breakfast!!
and we went back to the same place again!!!
jayen began shouting at the sea

and so i secretly took a video of him doing that, muahaha...
LOL.
it was our last day, so we decided to take more photos at the gardens, heee..

we went back to our room, packed and checked out at 12pm..
Left our luggages at the hotel reception before heading to the pool side for MORE FOOD, wahahahhaaa..
shared a plate of chicken drumlets with chips and banana boat!
by this time, we were both quite roasted under the sweltering heat. we decided to relax at the pavilions.. much much coooler!
and after a while we dozed off.. a japanese couple also came over and slept in the same pavilion with us, keke..
woke like an hour later to collect our baggages and wait at the lobby for the shuttle to bring us back to the ferry terminal.
reached singapore at 5pm and we even planned to go catch a movie together! so i went over to his place so we could book the tickets online, but ended up being too tired, we slept till 10pm!
keke....
it was overall a very nice trip!
relaxing and we have had tons of fun in the sun!!
more importantly, it brought us even closer to each other =)
