i haven been studying during the weekend. im so so so dead.
Had to work even harder these 2 weeks becos my kids are having their SA1 exam soon. So i couldnt 'take leave' like my classmates did. Instead, i had to slog even more during the weekends :(
Just got back home not long ago, and i came here to blog instead of revising for my paper tomorrow. argh! I need discipline!

i will do it at night =)

And last night, i went out to play!
cos baby had his final paper and i went to meet him after his exam at 10pm. I got to town earlier to get my Biotherm sunscreen from Tangs. I was supposed to just buy the sunscreen and LEAVE the shopping mall. But i didnt!!! i went up to the second level and automatically got 'sucked' to the ladies' section. Hur hur hur....
and i found pretty lingerie from Morgan♥! I'm a sucker for lingerie.. but they can be very ex, so i usually keep myself from them, unless i've just gotten my pay cheque (which i did yesterday, LOL)
Initially i wanted to try out the new Memory cushion bra from Triumph, but i found the designs less than appealing :( plain ones are boring. i prefer Miss Triumph's range.

But it was totally LOVE AT 1st SIGHT with this!!! the pink one from Morgan♥

PRETTY RIGHT!!!! i super love it! Lace and satin is a great combination! Girly & sexy!
i so damn happie lor. i bought 2.
The grey one has a nice cutting and was at 50% discount! wahahaha~ but the pink one is quite expensive :(
But i liked it so much that i just had to give in.
(btw, the Tangs Lingerie fitting rooms are awesome)

After the damage, i told myself that was it. I've been spending abit more than usual these few days and i have to curb it liao.
No more shopping for now. After that, i went to Centrepoint and deposited the rest of my pay at the cash deposit machine. And something happened.
I lost my atm card. Hmm.. not really lost, but i forgot to take it from the machine -_- which is quite unlikely for anyone to do so. But what happened was, at first i was queuing up at the cash deposit machine behind an Indian man. Then when it was his turn, he turned around and asked me to go first. Without thinking that anything was amiss, i went ahead. He had a wad of 50 dollar notes in his hands and was looking abit distracted.
All along when i was depositing my money, he was standing in quite close proximity to me. It didnt really bother me, but when i finished depositing my money and took the receipt, he suddenly banged his fist very loudly at the atm machine beside me and shouted, "My money! I forgot to take my money just now!"
and he went on to tell me that he withdrew $250 from the ATM machine earlier on but forgot to take the money from it, so the man behind him in the queue took it.
So i asked if he wanted to go after him. And then, i left the place WITHOUT MY CARD -_-

it was only at dinner with Jayen when i realised my atm card was missing! When i told him about it, jayen told me it must be some syndicate who purposely distract people to steal their cards. He asked if there was any accomplice with the Indian guy who might have taken my card right after i got distracted (cos after the receipt comes out, my card would too.. and sure there would be a 'beeping sound' to alert me if i hadn't).. and so zun, the man shouted right after i took the receipt. I couldnt remember if there was anyone else around.

I immediately called the bank to cancel my card. Anyway, i was glad (if it was really a syndicate out to cheat) that i've always been discreet with entering my pin number. I usually put all my fingers on the numbers and press the buttons without the lifting any finger until all 6 numbers have been pressed. Imagine if the man really got my PIN and my card, i can say bye bye to the $$$ in my a/c liao.

so peeps, must be careful and always check before you leave the atm machine.
sigh..

anyway,
i wore my new denim and lace jumper out, hehe

we wanted to watch a movie but there was none to our liking. So jayen brought me to play lan-games! wahahaa~ It was my first time playing.
we agreed it was cheap entertainment (cheaper than movies or clubbing!) and will do so more often now, hurhurhur...
we played Left4Dead.


i was really bad with games. Need a bit of time before i got the hang of it. I cannot even 'walk out through the door' (virtual) properly and kept knocking into the doorway -_-!! And when the zombies attacked, i just scream(not virtual) and anyhow 'shoot'...
i think i 'died' a few times, haha.
jayen is good at it, even though it was only his second time playing. Guys....... they all have an innate ability to play video games.

It was very fun. hehe.. and jayen kept asking me to 'stay behind him while he fought off all the zombies' for me. So guys, if u wanna show ur protective and heroic side but dont have the chance to in reality, bring ur girl to play lan-game, wahahaha...
and guess what time we left the place? 2am! It was damn addictive, keke..

i was working on it since morning till i went for a toilet break. Came back and realised how messy my desk was, haha.. so i took a photo.
Sigh.. Economics is definitely not my cup of tea :(

i abit duno what im studying about.

i must be in self-denial, haha.. am in such a shopping mood and still thinking i'm normal.
Cos it isn't me to spend like that. or is THAT the real me? perhaps, i'm just stressed out, haha

eh anyway, the girls over at my tagbox are quite cute.. i really dont think there's any great improvement to my skin as i'm still plagued by scars and sickening whiteheads :(
As for the MIOR bar, i'm still reluctant to pass a judgment about it cos i'm still unsure of its efficacy on my skin...yet. And i dont wan to say anything that may be untrue. Though it works wonders on bf's skin, i'm still confused if it works for me.
I've heard that the MIOR bar helps in purging the toxins out (so initial usage may result in outbreaks..) I do not know if it's becos of my very late nights and insufficient intake of fruits, suddenly i see alot of whiteheads popping out :( Yes, i didnt like it and have since gotten them extracted (manually). I asked bf if he experienced it too and he said he did. He believed it's a process of the MIOR bar getting rid of the dirty stuff under the skin. The only difference is: i cannot stand the outbreaks, but he is not losing sleep over it.

So i'm still monitoring. So jes, if you wan, i recommend buying the quarter bar to try first, haha.. cos the whole bar cost a hundred over bucks -_- (abit wasted if not effective)
i bought the whole bar to share with my bf after he tried the quarter. if it doesnt work for me, i will pass my remaining half to my bf.. think he will very gladly accept it, heh...

but i definitely salute this saviour here... for removing my whiteheads!

Plus the Foundation-fast i've been keeping since has reduced the whiteheads too. Really.. less make up is better.

i had this inferiority complex since young cos i think they look very ugly. They are damn obvious when dilated cos first, im very thin :( and second, I believe the 10 over years of piano training since i was 4 has resulted in that. I've never told anyone cos i didnt want them to go notice it.
Thus, i hated if someone stood beside me when i play the piano (and that's why, baby, i refused to play for u that day)

Yes, my ex noticed it and say i got the "teacher-hand".. i think he didnt like it? obviously. cos i didnt either. One photographer in my 'very very very long ago photoshoot' mentioned it too (behind my back) and i just got very emo after that

after i sent out the email of apology to my church usher team yesterday, some replied and told me they've covered my duties so i didnt have to worry, just need to treat them chocolates will do, haha..
i felt so much better. The aunties and uncles have been really, really nice. And i also received a mail from the Head of the team..

So I would like you to continue to stay in the team and serve to our God."

i went to stock up my facial products after work this morning.

I've been bumping into alot of people these 2 days. I met the cousin+cute little zijie at Cotton-On just now. And last night, i saw Kaya's little fren at the box office at AMK hub.
And while i was queuing up at the ATM, someone tapped on my arm.
I turned around to see someone whom i didn't know! She told me she was my student!
She said i taught her when she was in primary school. Now she is in poly already!!! Gawd... how come i got such a big student i didnt know?! and.. tsk, got so long ma.. i feel damn old lor.

anyway, i got abit embarrassed cos i totally cannot remember her at all! Must be go in for relief or what, or else i surely can recognise one.. hmmmm

:( i'm supposed to be on church duty last sunday, and i did not go. And i only realised it today! which was 5 days after!

i cant believe it. I kept thinking how i could forget.
I mean, it's normal for people to forget things and i shouldnt think that it was such a big deal.
But i've been reminded over and over again. I even promised a co-usher that i would take over some duties from him.. It was constantly on my mind as i made sure i wouldnt forget (i've forgotten to go for my usher duty once 2 months ago and i told myself it will never happen again since).
and now, it happened again!

no, i cannot accept it.

i called bf and told him all that, he thinks it's normal for people to get too busy until they forget?
i mean, i understand where he's getting at.. this i know too, but not something that's constantly on ur mind what... how can?

when it was so clear in my mind, how could i forget?! The feeling is like, you remind yourself everyday that "okay, this sunday is my examination," and you revise ur stuff, go study meetings with you sch mates,
and then you go through the whole week before suddenly realising that.. your exam has passed, and you have lived through the whole of that day without even realising it!

is that even possible??? :(
only in my dreams i guess. and now it's the reality :(

sigh. i'm really upset. Upset with myself and upset that i've caused inconvenience to my team, and they're so nice that they didnt even ask me about it (tat's why i realised it myself only now)!
i've just sent an email of apology over to them and the person in charge. haizzz....

i was supposed to be sleeping.

then there was this urge to blog. I actually tried to write something before i got ready for bed, but nothing came. So i shut down my laptop, off the lights and got under my blanket. Then suddenly the inspiration came. I thought i would blog in the morning, but the words kept flowing and bugging my mind!! until i cannot sleep.

moreover, i cannot blog in the morning cos I MUST STUDY FOR MY EXAM (which is coming in 2 weeks' time) cos once i switch on my laptop, that's it!
I would surf forums, read blogs and do all those unnecessary stuff (like online 'window' shopping) for hours and then it will be time to go tuition -_- and i wont have time to study! Therefore, the only way to discipline myself is to put my laptop out of sight so i wont be tempted!

This afternoon, i went to visit Xin and baby Mattias, hehe!!
Little Mattias was sleeping soundly when i got over. He's sooooo cute and very very guai =) wahahaa...
he just got his hair cut over the weekend. Xin told me that they used his first hair to custom make paintbrushes! One for more than a hundred dollars! very ex lor, but interesting!!! Imagine when ur kid goes to primary one and uses the brush with his own hair to paint his drawings in school, wahaha

he has been using this MIOR bar that we bought online 2 weeks ago. It was damn good cos it cleared almost all the acne on his face and even gave a radiant glow! Now only left the sides to clear. But the soap is a tad drying.
After seeing the miracle on his skin, i also started using it hoping to get rid of my whiteheads.. hee
Anyway, i had my fringe cut too for 5 bucks =)

thanks to andy who cut and pasted the html at the tagboard, hhaaa.. i found "h1" already.
i tried changing it to other sizes like 200% and 300%, but it didnt turn out as nice as the current 400%, keke..

i realised how much i treasure this blog of mine, haha.. cos i actually spent close to 4 hours figuring out how to change my 'classic' blog template to the new(actually not new) 'layout' template...
i'm already half-dead, hahaa

but Blogger is rather friendly to IT-noobs like me, who have absolutely no idea about computer stuff and HTML.. it's just the trying to put the stupid slideshow into my blog that is rather challenging. But i still managed to get it up! YAY-ness!!
Trial and error and everything's done! hehe..and the 'missing' posts problem in my archive links are solved!!! Now got the 'older posts' link le! YAY!!!!

the new layout template is soooo much friendlier than the old version... where it was html, html and MORE HTML!
i like my new blog template! it's very refreshing, haha.. where posts and photos are not cramped up at one corner like they used to =))
just that the font size for the "My blog speaks louder than me..." is so damn big, it's shouting into my face. Crazy, put so big for what.... but, i dont know how to resize it :(

little pudding has gone to its paradise already :(

5 days ago, it developed a tumor at its belly.. which eventually grew quite rapidly.
i have sought help from the people at the pet shops, but they told me it's quite normal for hammies that are almost 2 years old to fall ill and die of old age (they only live ~1+ to 2 years)
Surgery is not recommended, so i just left it and tried to let pudding enjoy its last days happily.
:(
though it didnt seem very happy cos the swollen lump obstructed its activity. It couldnt run on its wheel.. and on the last day which was friday night, it wasnt even eating. i think it's too depressed to :(
Kaya told me her office pet managed to live quite long despite a swollen and bleeding tumor. The hair dropped off but it was still alive after a month! But pudding didnt have that kind of luck.. or should i say i'm glad pudding didnt?
Cos it still has its nice hair and wasnt bleeding (so i think it didnt suffer as much as if it bled?) so it died a beautiful hamster still.....

On the night before its death, pudding was lying in the cage with her eyes wide open. She wasnt moving much already and i felt really upset not being able to help at all. I could only stroke her little head to show her i was by her side, and let her listen to her favourite song, "First of May" by Olivia, hahaa... (cos only that song can calm her down, hee...)
And in the morning, when i woke up, pudding has already left :(

i didnt cry after its death, but i did on its last night. Somehow, i just knew it would go soon. And jayen and i prayed to God to deliver her that night.. (dunno about pets, but i think He did =)


omg, i'm starting to miss little pudding already :(
i will always remember her as our love pet and how it managed to stay in my bedroom undetected for almost 2 years! haha~

i've just spent one whole hour trying to figure out how to fix the "auto pagination" problem in Blogger but to no avail.
Totally confused :(

cos not all of my past posts in the monthly archives' links are showing up.. terribly upset.
and i do not know how to fix it. And setting 'weekly' archives instead of my present 'monthly' archives sounds totally retarded, cos after blogging for almost six years, there will be ~300 weekly archive links -_-
