wahhahahha....
waking up this morning to my own room makes me miss Bangkok so much!
not that the hotel we stayed in was fantastic, but it's the thought of waking up to one whole new day of shopping that makes it exhilarating! teeheeehee... and of cos seeing your loved one beside u first thing in the mornings * :)
Day 1 - 6th Dec, Wednesday
might not be even considered a day, but a night, keke.. cos our flight to Bangkok was scheduled @ 1030pm.
I spent the afternoon packing my stuff while listening to my mom's incessant nagging and baby was still working till 5pm. He had to rush to get his work matters settled, go down to the travel agency after work. by the time he reached home, it was almost 7 and we needed to reach the airport at 9pm, that left him an hour or so to pack his stuff..
baby was so exhausted from all the rushing when i saw him. so poor thing.. it makes me feel so bad for feeling upset with him the day before. im sorry bb, for not understanding :p
bb requested for the window seat and there we are! yeahh..

dinner on board was spicy chicken rice, some cold cold noodles, cut fruit and a hard bun.
i hate the smell of airline food. makes me lose my appetite yet i still managed to finish the piping hot plate of rice, hehe.. but decided to give the cold noodle a miss.. yuks
bb was disturbing this little boy at the other seat by making funny noises and actions cos the boy was imitating whatever he was doing -_-
i had to threaten him to stop cos the dad was looking. haha
we finally touched down at the airport @ 1am (bangkok time) :D

by the time we checked in our hotel, which was at the heart of Chinatown, washed up and got ready for bed, it was almost 4am in the morning...
Day 2 - 7th Dec, Thursday
woke up for buffet breakfast at the hotel.. the food sucks.
haha..
i finished only like 20% of the food i took? bleah.
dear lagi best, he knows what exactly to take cos he's been there so many times liao.. never warn me.. i took so much of the unpalatable stuff :(
anyway, we went out for shopping right after breakfast. shopping for necessities like his shampoo, bath foam, body powder and his hair wax and gel -_-
he win liao lor.. he brings his old clothes and shoes to wear and throw on the spot, haha.. and buy new ones to wear back home. tat will save alot of luggage space as he claims :)
he says we must dress down when we're overseas so that the thai people wont TOK (aka. 'chop' in hokkien) us.. cos he speaks thai and can easily pass off as a local.
BUT
everything about me just screams "IM A TOURIST. COME TOK ME."

so jeans and gaudy accessories were naturally 'prohibited'.. even my favourite pasttime--> cam-whoring was also 'banned' by him, cos that was the Ultimatum --> Photo-taking = 100% tourist haha :(
i was darn sad cos i couldnt take any pics..
bb wanted to cheer me up so he volunteered to take the photos of our lunch - Bah kut teh.. (almost gobbled up by then)
the roast meat is DAMN GOOD i tell u! :D crispy yet spongy-soft! delicious!
see? i was sulking like nobody's business. didnt even wan to look at the camera.
cos i didnt understand why he disapproved of me snapping away..
not until he explained the rationale behind it..
HOR.
never tell me earlier how i know.. explain to me then i will understand la, then i wont take anymore, keke..
felt much much better after i understood the situation.
more shopping till nighttime!
the things over there were damn cheap! whahahahhaa...
he brought me to wholesale centres and we shopped like crazy!! :p
we then proceeded to MBK in a Tuk Tuk for more shopping! hehe :D
i love sitting in a TukTuk! loving the thrill of speeding through the streets and feeling the wind against my face.. even thou the air there is damn polluted..i dont care! whahhaha...
reached MBK, bought lingerie cos they say it's so cheap over there!!! okay la.. still needed to fork out around 40 SGD for each leh..
and we had our hair done @ NeoNeo HairSalon!! wahahaha...
i did highlights for 1200 Baht.. approximately 54 SGD.

we reached the place where the famous 4-faced buddha was situated.. im so bad at remembering names of places we've visited. cos i just followed bb blindly wherever he led, heh...
there were so many devotees praying.. bb also go there bai-bai..

we had more shopping along the streets after that. Bought 2 tops for a really cheap price (4.50 SGD) and he got some of his stuff there too :)
Next was Seafood dinner @ Chinatown which was very near to our hotel! teeheehee..
bb loved the prawns there!
we had a steamed fish, tom yum soup and the gigantic prawns that were the size of baby lobsters!!! teehehe...
tat's bb shelling the prawns for me! im soooo pampered! he's da best!

3rd Day - 8th Dec, Friday
woke up alil later.. but still we had to get ourselves ready for breakfast before 10am cos the buffet ends that time, haha.
this time round, i was clever. i got exactly what he took on the first morning, haha.. fried rice and the soup, hehe
went shopping for his stuff again! the belts and bags were sooooo freakin cheap @ the wholesale centres as compared to the ones we find in singapore! like 6 times cheaper??
wahahahaaa....
had lunch @ Texas restaurant near our hotel and off we went on a TukTuk for MORE shopping !
bought lots of skirts and dresses, teeheehee... bought 2 pairs of heels for 199 and 299 baht (~9 & 13 SGD respectively) :)
had Shark's Fin dinner near our hotel, hehe...
his favourite also cos the broth is really tasty!
and we shared a bowl of ice-cold Bird's nest soup! *SLURP!!!!!!

4th Day - 9th Dec, Saturday
It's the weekends!!
haha, So we planned to go Chatuchak, the weekend market (heaven) that noon!
we didnt even have our lunch and off we went straight for SHOPPING, SHOPPING and MORE SHOPPING!!!
i was literally shopping like mad there and he paid for everything! wahhahhaa.. sorry, no photos taken cos i was busy! :D
the things weren't exactly cheaper than the wholesale centres, but if u're thinking of getting the stuff u see in singapore for a cheaper rate, that's the place to go! hehe..
variety and style beats the wholesale centre's hands down.
bb was encouraging me,"dont think liao, just buy.. just buy."
wahahahhahaa.... im a pleased bitch!! wahhahahhaa...
bought a denim jumper, 2 tops, 1 bag, 1 pair of shorts and 1 dress there, hee..
NOT ALOT right heh...
moreover, the weather was warm and definitely doesnt help abit, keke..
after 3 long hours of shopping, we went back to Chinatown for Seafood dinner again! hehe.
had the prawns, egg omelette and fried morning-glory (!?)

went back hotel early that evening cos we were both super exhausted from all the walking around...
and we watched TV! :D
by 11 plus, i was hungry again.. bb went downstairs to get supper for me, hehe...
he bought so much stuff!
kaya toast, pepsi, roast meat rice and Bird's Nest!!!
i said the roast meat was nice on the second day we had it for lunch and he remembered! keke...

5th Day - 10th Dec, Sunday
our flight back to singapore was at 4pm and we needed to check out by 1230pm when the van would come fetch us to the airport...
woke up earlier, had our breakfast, went for some last minute shopping again and was back at the hotel lobby by 1210pm :)
on the van to the airport, bb said,"nah.. now u can take all the photos u wan.. it's safe now, nobody will TOK us here, hahaa..."
yeah, u're right.
teeheehee...
reached airport in an hour's time and the queue for checking in was so long :(

our luggages! hehe.. fyi, we came with only one luggage, haha..

late lunch was Burger King before we went on board the plane..
im starting to miss BKK already :(
but overall a fruitful trip i would say.. thanks my bb bringing me for shopping even thou you have so much work back here in singapore..

as for the loot i got from the trip, it would be another entry liao, heh.
