*SWEATS*
i spent the whole of last night (till 4am!) and the whole of this morning from 10am till now to sift through all the photos and i managed to resize and upload ONLY days 1 and 2 of the trip!! there are so many photos i gonna die!!!! hahaa
so i can now only blog the first 2 days of the trip and there are going to be 78 (97 now!) photographs in this post, hehe so here goes! :)
Day 1 (5th December, Sunday)
Slept only 3 hours the previous night cos i was too excited! haha (well, what's new? heh....)
Woke up early in the morning cos we had to be at the airport at 8am :)
Brother and his wife specially came over to send us to the airport, haha.. KUDOS to them :D *touched*
Reached T1 in no time and dad, armed with a Canon 60D, and i a Sony Nex5, the crazy photo snapping started, hahaa

First on the escalator is my sis-in-law and me, then my parents, and my aunt and her family :)
This is such a beautiful photo of bro and sis-in-law, wahahaa!! *proudly* i took it! :D

we had breakfast at some DimSum eatery at T1..

Before we checked in, we were buying lippies for my fave aunt back in singapore, heee. Her favourite YSL lipstick! :D My brother also helped his wife to get her Estee Lauder foundation cos he got staff discount! :)

Soon it was time to board the plane :)
I was sitting by the window with my daddy :)
weeeee~

Love this photo! :)

We had our lunch on board the plane, the food was good!! They served us either Fish with potatoes or Chicken rice

Daddy happy with his food, heee.. We finished every single stuff on the tray!! *yummy!* i'm usually not a great fan of airline food... in fact, i find it very disgusting. But this lunch was surprisingly quite appetizing! Even better than SIA, in my opinion.
After 3 and a half hours, we landed at HongKong International Airport :)

We had a hard time locating our local tour guide. There were only 11 of us in the group. I hate tour groups cos free n' easy is so much better and fun! hehe.. but my parents only go for guided tours, oh well..
But of cos, it also has its perks cos we get to be ferried to different tourist attractions efficiently and can chop chop visit those places, haha.. And there's more discipline to wake up early!
Our first destination was our hotel!

It is located in HK Disneyland (YAY!!!) itself, so the hotel is disney-themed!! wheeee~ i feel like a small kid again, hahaa (damnit, im so deprived!)

Hollywood hotel is the name of our hotel (we only stayed here 1 night cos the first 2 days of the our itinerary was to visit Disneyland)
waiting at the lobby for our room keys

and i tell u, THE ROOMS ARE MAD LOVE!!!

HUGE AND everything about it is just awesome! wahahaha!!!

This hotel is bright and sunny! hahaa.. cos the afternoon sun shines in! It's quite a different feel from other hotels (usually dark) and i quite like it!! When u are here, u wont think of eerie stuff happening in the hotel room, hahaa..

i like!
In no time, we came back down and headed to Disneyland with our tour guide

yeap, the man in the grey shirt is our tour guide. He's quite a nice and fatherly man, haha but he doesnt look his age at all. He's almost 60!
yay yay yay yay!

oh, another thing i wanna add is, i spotted many very, very cute kids throughout my trip in HK, hehe...they just make me go "awwwwww...." (guess is the motherly instinct acting up again! i know i know...... time for me to 生小孩)
Cute kid #1 spotted!

hehe!
We headed to this Animation Studio where we learnt how animation works... Amazing stuff by Pixar!

This is the model of some characters in ToyStory :) and when the whole thing spins,

together with special lighting (which sadly, i can't capture in my photos), you see the characters moving like in the movie! AWESOME! :) we were all so fascinated by it that we watched it spin over and over and over again! heee

Do you know who is Duffy?

Everybody is crazy over the disney bear!!! I also bought one bear without knowing why it is so popular! It's not exactly the cutest thing in Disneyland -_-
But...well, this is called the 'herd mentality'.. Anyway, i realised i didnt even take his picture, hahaa!! Cos there was a snaking queue of fans wanting a photo with him.. (will upload the bear i bought soon! Not in this post, cos i haven uploaded it, and it's too much time to do it!)

If i were a kid, i would want one of those balloons too!
I love this photo!

Supposedly the happiest place on Earth, haha

The tour guide recommended this Mickey's 3D show when we were on our way to Disneyland, saying that this is a must-watch!
And we really watched it twice! haha.. on the first day and Day 2 too.
Mom and Daddy, haha

I think it's more of 4D than 3D cos there were special effects like wind blowing, water sprinkling onto us and we could even smell the sweet aroma from the cakes and pastries in the movie! Though the smell turned out to be more puke-inducing than sweet..
(i do not have a sweet tooth so a smell too sweet makes me sick.. the same goes for my perfumes too, ahaha)
It's me only, heh.. cos 2 china gers sitting beside me were commenting very loudly, "哇!! 好香喔~" -_-
Soon, it was sun-down :)

The sun sets very early in the evening! By 6.30pm, it feels like 9pm in Singapore! Totally dark!
And the weather turns cooler.

Leaving Disneyland for our dinner back in our hotel.

My aunt (mom's sister, that explains why they look alike, haha), uncle, cousin (a-bee), mom and me.
The 'fast-food' place in our hotel

Food looks good!

very happy with my order, hahaa

my parents got this weird habit of going back to the hotel room for teeth-brushing after every meal in the hotel.

We're at the lift lobby, intending to head back to Disneyland for the fireworks display at 8pm. The lift is quite cute cos there will be Mickey/Donald duck and duno whosoever voices to tell you which floor you're at and warn you when the lift doors are closing etc -_-
Super noisy hahaa.. and before the lift doors open, the cute voice would say, "Tahh-da~dah dahhhh!"
-_____-!
heh

No photos of the fireworks display cos I didnt take any. Instead, i took videos but in a format i couldnt upload :(
The whole place was crowded with visitors like us trying to catch a glimpse of the fireworks that there was absolutely limited space for us to stand.. We managed to get a place last minute that did not exactly have a good (unblocked) view, but it was better than nothing. When the lights in the whole disneyland dimmed and the castle lit up, the music started playing, i felt tears welling up in my eyes!!
omg.. why was i so easily moved again!? i wasn't this emotional last time! (when i watch NKF shows, pple around me can all cry except me -_-)
Anyway, i knew i was so emotional because everything there brought me back to the time we (me and jayen) watched the fireworks display in HK disneyland together, standing at the exact same spot, looking at the exact same sky and enjoying the exact same fireworks. Total sweetness~ and i missed our HK so much, and the bf
:_(
Yeap, after the 15-min firework display (and wiping away my love-sick tears, haha, kidding), we headed back to the hotel for a restful night.

cam-whore!!

imma happy kid! :D
Day 2 (6th December, Monday)
It was kaya's birthday! hahaa.. but i couldnt make it physically to greet her a happy bday so i did it through an sms, haha
Waking up to Disneyland is great joy, hahaa

In singapore, we can never see Mountains in the skyline like this, haha

Our itinerary that day was to have breakkie at the Disneyland Resort Hotel and half a day in Disneyland itself before we checked out and go over to visit the Victoria Peak as well as Mdm Tussauds Wax Musuem.
We had a slow walk to the other hotel which was around 15-minutes away.. It was nice walking early in the morning! The air was crisp and cool!
Daddy

Disneyland Resort Hotel.

It was huge!! (this is just one part of the lobby near the dining area where we had our international buffet)

There was alot of yummy food!

And the best part was, the Disney characters would come and say "hello" and pose for your cameras!

aunt seems elated to meet Daisy, hee.. and my cousin couldnt be bothered... haha

Mickey is so 'dao' :( Cos he's the most famous character and everybody wants a picture with him. so he can afford to be hao-lian lor...
Goofy is different!

when he came over, he gave me such a big tight hug!!!
My mom got a shock and said, "HAIYOH, 要死 lo!!!" hahhaa

Family photo :)

yay!
After breakfast around 9am, we headed out to the garden to find a nice place for photo-taking!!!

Daddy and mommy

me and mom

happiness~!

wahhhhh :D

i took this!! Trying to capture lens flare!! YAY

After that, we took the shuttle bus back to Disneyland again!

It was super sunny! but we didn't perspire at all, unlike in singapore where the humidity of the air was so high! :(
Look at the crowd!! On a weekday morning!

It was so hot that we decided to sit in the tram and let it ferry us around the whole Disneyland.

yay!

cute kid #2 spotted! awwww...

such a sweet little girl! with strawberry tights, wahaha

Soon we reached "Fantasyland" and sat in the Cinderella Carousel!

This is the castle where the fireworks were displayed above at night..

like this, haha

:D
We went looking for 'Adventureland' because my cousin wanted to go up the Tarzan treehouse when we came across this place where we had our lunch!

It's something like a foodcourt :)
This was what i had, hehe

dad with his fried rice :)

nom nom nom nom....

haha..

then we bought some souvenirs from the store.. duno what's mom doing looking so happy

Dad bought that set of Disney pens for his art student.
I bought the furry furry bag charm for my tuition kid, haha

Soon, we reached here! We were so lucky to be in time for the Lion King show!

everybody else was already seated in the theatre and we didn't need to queue to get in, haha

but of cos, we had only the back seats in the theatre, haha.. but it doesnt matter!

Simba!

when i see this, i will think of Siaolang's gf, haha.. cos he often tells us that his gf loves Simba! hehe.. too bad i didnt see any simba toys in the stores.. or maybe i didnt look hard enough! :)

The gentleman in the middle is acting as 'Simba' the lion.
This is cute :)

The show lasted for quite a while and when we came out of the theatre, there wasn't much time left for us before we had to go back to the hotel to meet the rest of our tour and the guide.
Managed to go to the Tarzan's treehouse after all :)

where they showed Tarzan's life from a tiny babyboy to a hunky man, hehe

Tarzan's wife.. Is it Janet or something?
Ohh, Jane, haha
on our way out, caught Donald and Daisy :)

Goodbye Disneyland! :)

Took the shuttle bus back....
and this random family sitting infront of me has this very cute boy who was crying for his milk, haha! Cute kid #3, hahaa

wahahaha~
Within 10 minutes, we were back in our hotel to meet up with the rest of the group.
Our tour guide took us first to Ladies Market for some shopping (1 hour)

Something like Pasar Malam. But hor, here u better dont even ASK if you aren't certain you wanna buy the stuff. Cousin saw this jersey he liked and my dad helped him ask the lady how much it cost.. She took down the jersey and we found out that the price was sky-high!! like 800HK dollars (~137 SGD) for a pirated jersey.
Cousin changed his mind and we decided not to buy it.. The lady ran and followed us all the way asking how much we're willing to buy it. Cousin just ignored her and she became angry! She unleashed torrents of lecture at us and followed us closely behind scolding angrily, saying what we dont wan to buy still ask her bring the jersey down etc...
And we were actually quite scared! haha! Didn't even dare to walk past her stall when we were walking out!
Anyway, i've heard many similar encounters of tourists kena scolding before. So the moral of the story is.. Dont even ask if you dont have the intention to buy when you're at Ladies Market.
Yes, and we did not buy a single thing from there. I think all too scared liao, hahaaa
When we met our tour guide after that 1 hour, he had bought us desserts from this famous dessert stall called 許留山!

Cheers to yummy desserts!

i cropped half of my face off cos the angle was damn unflattering! FAT double chin hahaa! My dad loves to take photos of us below the eye level one! and always capture our FAT angles. grrrrr..... (i think cos he wants to take the surroundings as well.. subjects(people) not important. More important is the scenery -_-) Luckily i had one camera with me, haha
Another family who is part of our tour group

This is the famous must-try! Something like our KOI. OHhhhhh.. actually not OUR koi.. is Koi from TAIWAN.

After that, we went to a seafood restaurant for our dinner!
On our way, dad took some amazing pictures from the coach

We reached!

You can imagine how fresh our seafood dinner was, haha.. They just caught these up from the sea behind!
The tour guide was telling us that the temperature was going to drop to 15°C the next day. Yes, HK's weather is that erratic.. And usually before a drop in temperature, fog will be seen cast over the sky and visibility will be very low. We were heading to Victoria Peak, so he was telling us that we might not get to see what we EXPECTED to see at the peak if visibility was low, haha
BUT WE WERE SOOOO LUCKY! muahahahah!!~

wahhhhh

It was very windy up there and the wind was chilly! SUPER COLD!
Nice!! :) Too bad the lights are blurry :( my hands were shaky, haha

We went down to Mdm Tussauds Wax Museum and it was quite rushed..cos we were only given an hour to visit the whole museum as well as The Peak :(
Tat's one reason why i don't like guided tours :(The last time jayen and i were there, we spent almost the whole day there!
However, also due to the limited amount of time, we just chop chop took our photos with the wax figures.. tat explains all the impromptu and funny poses, haha

my mom.. haha!
Cousin tackling David Beckham.. cos he claims he doesnt support the club Bechham's in.. Dont ask me which club.. the only club i know is zouk and st james

My daddy's idols!! The Beatles! :D

what art thou writing, shakesphere?
The Ipman is the new figure, haha.. i didnt see him one year ago here..
I didn't remember seeing this also.. or did i?? :)

I love reading the process how they actually made the wax figures!! But i didnt have time to read everything :(

haha, i'm astroboy!

i would love shoes like these! :D
Our last stop was 星光大道 (Avenue of Stars)

Seasons' greetings!! :)
Yeap, i guess that's about all for Days 1 & 2..
YAY!!! i've finished blogging for it, hahaha.. time to work on Day 3 liaoooo! :p
Day 3 (7th December, Tuesday)
Our 3rd day was packed with activity from early morning to night. Dad forgot to set his alarm and we woke up only at 6.30am, an hour later than what he planned. haha.. good for me. Cos i cannot wake that early!
Anyway, we checked out of the hotel in Disneyland and were in Harbour Plaza Resort City Hotel (damn the long name! haha) from the second night onwards.

This hotel is very inaccessible in my opinion cos it's located in the New Territories, northern part of HK, very near ShenZhen China. Because of its 'strategic' location, we were told that 98% of its hotel occupants are China nationals. Well honestly, i did not like what i hear, haha.. The tour guide warned us that most of them are quite uncouth so we just had to be prepared la..
In the morning after we washed up and all, we waited for the lift (we were staying on the 19th floor) and as expected (the tour guide did warn us beforehand), we waited a long time before there was a lift enough space for all of us to go in. Thinking that the lift was already packed, naturally we did not expect anymore people to squeeze in.
The lift doors opened from level 19th to the ground level and almost every level, the China people just roughly pushed themselves in!! :(
i was standing very near to the doors and having my finger on the 'door open' button. One China man came in and just flicked my finger off the button with his hand! It came as a rude shock and i just stared at him with disbelief! Anyway, i think it's very common for them to behave like that :( Another hotel guest saw what had happened and just smiled at me with the "it's just us la, so dont take it to heart" look.
Hng..
When we reached the lobby, our tour guide was already there waiting for us. He laughed and asked how long we waited for the lift, keke.. We saw guests gambling at the lobby! Dont have to ask what their nationality is, haha..
Our first stop was a Dim Sum restaurant!

I love man tou!!!
i'm not a fan of DimSum. I don't like "har gao", "siu mai", "char siew bao", "popiah".. basically all food that are wrapped up.
So i only like the man tou.. with no filing inside :)
The first stop after breakfast was Repulse Bay.. a beach where you can swim, hehe.. 浅水湾
We visited the Kwan Yam Shrine.

The tour guide was telling us that there are 5 pairs of "Pi Xiu" in the shrine itself and he will give a present to the person who could find the rest of the 4 pairs. The Pi Xiu (貔貅) is some mythical animal (looks like a lion/dragon?) that is said to bring wealth and prosperity in feng shui. Usually comes in pairs and i think most of us have seen a pair guarding some buildings or temples.
Anyway, it's not easy to find the pairs!!! Cos a lot of statues in the shrine look like that so i couldn't be sure!
Touching this statue of "god of wealth" is said to bring wealth, haha

but the guide say cannot anyhow touch. Must touch the head, then the hand and then your pockets, haha
There was a long queue of visitors waiting for their turn to touch the statue.

The temperature was 22°C but the wind was chilly!!! We were all feeling very cold, haha
Aunt's family

My parents

This is the 长寿桥.. have to walk across then u can live 3 days more, haha.. or is it 3 years? i can't remember! But we didnt really care, we walked up the bridge and walked back down until the tour guide stopped us and asked us to walk down the other side! haha

feels like Haw Par Villa...
:)

This is the famous building with a hole :)

Repulse bay is most expensive housing area in HK, but this building was built with a hole in the middle.. so you can calculate how much 'loss' it is going to incur per square foot of the "missing units". But because the people in HK believes heavily in FengShui so this building is built to look like a "water bucket".

They believed that the water can flow in through the hole, thus bringing in wealth and prosperity to the area and its occupants :)
After that, we took the sampan (something like our Singapore River Cruise) to tour around..

weeeee~

Visited Jumbo Floating restaurant! and took a photo infront of it, haha

This is a boat in where the 水上人家 lived.

After we disembarked, we visited the Jewellery shop!

Guide showing us the biggest crystal.. and he say touch liao will fa cai, hahaa

i think if i drill one part of the crystal out and bring it home then i surely will fa cai lorr..
Buying 'water buckets' made of jade!! I bought 2 keychains here, one for jayen and one for myself. Couple couple :) Hope we can fa cai together, hahahaa.. (but no use one leh.. i bought 4D also never win) keke....trust in God better la! haha

Lunch was Cantonese fare!!! SUPER SUPER SUPER TASTY! It tasted like grandma's cooking!! (my grandma is a cantonese by the way, hehe) The dishes were so delicious i had 3 big bowls of rice! hehe.. yah.. 3 bowls, fyi, i eat alot one. Or maybe cos the morning dim sum i didnt eat, haha
After the great meal, we headed to Da Yu Shan (to see the giant buddha) via the Ngong Ping cable car. I was just here a year back, teehehe

We had tickets for both standard cabins and crystal cabins!! whoo-woot~

Crystal cabin has a transparent base! :)

are you afraid of heights? haha

Love the cable car ride! We were all so excited and were standing up (except aunt who was afraid i think! hehe)
I took ALOT of self-taken shots!! hahaa.. cos there was basically nothing much you can do during the 20 minute ride except taking photos -_-
i was posing like these when i heard my aunt ask my mom what i was doing.. and my mom replied nonchalantly, "siao cha bor lorr.. take photos, hahaa"

dad took these! hehe

:)

Going to reach sooon!

Great Buddha in sight!
Disembarked from the cable car.. and i was always ready for dad's camera, lol

My excitement here is overrated, haha

We climbed more than 200 steps up to the Giant Buddha statue!

We were all panting when we finally reached the top! hahaa..
Buddha says hello :)

Dad with cousin

My mom, aunt, uncle and cousin just stayed in the indoors while dad and i went climbing all the way up to the base of the statue! It was very cold and windy up here!! i was FREEZING!

Dad taught me how to compose a nice picture! :)

so i took one for my parents! Nice yay!

After that, we came down to Po Lin monastery to have the famous Soy Beancurd and some light snacks like red bean paste kuay etc..

The seat is like in those period dramas where they got a backyard to eat desserts while enjoying the flowers and bird singing -_- haha

i dont see what's so special about the Soy Beancurd leh... taste almost the same as our Rochor Beancurd, haha

Leaving the Giant Buddha and heading back to take the cable car.

This is the setting sun, hee.. Looks like the mooncake egg yolk

YAY, crystal cabin this time round! :)

hehe! Looks like we are flying, haha
i was excited to see how the photo of mom and aunt turned out to be, hee..

looks like they're just sitting on a seat and flying above the mountains, heee
In a failed attempt to look like i'm flying in the air.. (inspired by weijie and sherwin in their crystal cabin shots, LOL)

Attempt 2 by dad

OKay i look stupid, haha.. There was a young couple sitting together with us, so it was quite embarrassing to be doing stupid things like this.. they were giggling but i didnt care, haha
wahhhhhh! HK international airport in view :)

It was dark already by the time we reached the terminal..

i took too many photos until i didnt feel like taking anymore in Days 4 and 5, haha!
Citygate shopping mall

There are alot of 'factory' outlet stores here!! Like Adidas outlet, Esprit outlet etc.. didn't get to check the prices cos we did not have much time left to shop around.
We went back to our hotel for our dinner.

Dinner was on our own. There are 2 shopping malls situated just beside our hotel, so we went there to find some food to eat, hee

Dad had beef kway teow and i had roasted duck! It was DELICIOUS!!!! YUMMMMY! crispy duck skin and succulent meat!

i reckon this is how roasted duck in heaven tastes like! hehe
After dinner, we adjourned back to the hotel to sleeeeeeeep! :) Day 4 would be free n easy!
I think i can blog Days 4 and 5 together, hehe.. This HK trip post is getting very long, haha.. plus i'm going Malaysia over the weekend, so i better clear it before Saturday, hehe
Can't believe i'm so hardworking blogging! I haven even typed my resume yet but i've got more motivation to blog! *shoot myself in the head*
If my job is blogging, that would be such a wonderful thing, haha!! cos hor, i can be out shopping but when i think about having to blog, i will feel darn happy and would want to hurry home!
So here comes Day 4, haha.. and if time permits, i'll blog Day 5 as well! I've just finished uploading all the photos for both days, YAY :) *pats myself on the back*
Day 4 (8th December, Wednesday)
Dad remembered to set his alarm the night before so today, we woke up at a freaking 5.30am!
I dont know why he likes to wake up so early in the morning. Last time, when we went overseas together, he would always wake as early as 5am to catch the sunrise or go out of the hotel to do scenery sketches!
But that's usually for China or those mountainous kind of places la.. Here in HK, u go outside is only this...

u like to draw HDB?
Now, he rather play with his cameras, haha

He took all these from our hotel room.

i can see a church! haha
These flats (or isst condo?) look brand new!! :) They are all at least 40 storeys high!

This is a neighbourhood in where the poorer people of HK stay.. 天水围 is also known as 悲情城市 (sorrowful city) because the people living here do not have very good jobs (since it's a suburban area and travelling to the city takes a lot of time), thus there were alot of family problems due to money matters and maybe stress (cos no money and no time for family) so there were alot of suicides... Thus the name.
:( i hear already also very sorrowful.. haiz.. i believe many families in singapore are like that too :(
Sad stuff aside,
today we were free on our own!
Morning was the same place where we had our dinner! haha.. cos there were really limited places for us to eat within the vicinity of our hotel

Initially, we planned to go to Macau or Shenzhen, but our tour guide sort of dissuaded us cos going over there would take alot of time, and might have some difficulties at the customs. So, to play safe, it's better for us to stay in HK since there were only very few of us.
Okay lor.. so we decided to go Ocean Park! YAY!!!
even though i went there before, i was still excited! Cos i want to go places where i can remember happy times with jayen, hehe
Our small coach that morning

It's Christmas season and i love the colourful deco!

i was darn happy when there was 'snow' falling!!! wheeee~

which was actually just soap bubbles -_-

We took the..

again! hahaaa...
(i was wearing leggings throughout the 5 days cos my mom kept telling me it would be very cold in HK when i was packing my luggage.. plus the last thing i wanna happen was my mom to scold me for wearing too little or too short la.... Tights would be VERY safe, hehe.. and i was quite glad, cos she didn't nag at my dressing for the 5 days, so we were happy, hahaa
And most of the locals dress like that, hehe. Tights and boots with a jacket, yay! Heng i got do homework before i go, hehe)

we were up on the tiny cable car! But it was very squeezy! 6 of us were in a cabin and there was not much space for us to manoeuvre around to take shots. So when we travelled back, we split ourselves into threes in one cable car.

wheeeee!!~ why am i more scared looking at the photo than when i was up on the cable car?

wahhhhh~ so nice

The ocean!

Took a panoramic view of the ocean when we reached the other side of the park.

We were at Pacific Pier!

California sea lions sun-tanning on the rocks, heee.. and they dont move one!!!

It is sleeping, haha! Dad's powerful camera is darn good taking close-up shots of subjects very far away!!
A dotted sea lion swimming in the water.. hehe fatty and cute!

Managed to catch the last 5 minutes of finale at the Animal Show..

Amazing shots!!! Canon 60D (in case u are wondering, hahaa)

Dolphins are such smart animals!
Took the world's 2nd longest outdoor escalator

daddy

i was trying to capture lens flare again! haha.. couldnt...

We thought this was a ferris wheel and wanted to go for it.. UNTIL we saw that it went 360° vertically in high speed, like a centrifuge!!!!! Chickened out and only stood at the side to watch the people's reactions, hahaa...

I think most of the visitors didnt know it would tilt all the way up vertically cos there wasn't many people queuing for it, thus they just went ahead without knowing! Even got ahma and young children! They came down green in the face after the ride! The aunty in charge of the ride also damn bad la, never warn them one lor! Ahma how can sit this!!
My folks can never sit these kinda thrill rides! I also cannot. I've got a weak heart, haha

Instead, we sat in a carousel ride again, hahaa

but hor, this is super weird cos there isn't any music when you are going round and round. Abit 冷场...
Spotted one cute eurasian girl!!! AIYOHHHHH, so cute!!!

oh, sorry, this is lao niang! haha! Next photo! haha!!

Adorable right???? wahahahaa~ Cute kid #4 spotted!! :)
We had an early lunch!
I was still feeling very full from the morning's breakfast, so i only had a banana crepe :)Mom had wanton mee.. Come HK die die must try their wanton mee

doesnt look very appetizing to me.
Spotted yet another cute kid!!! wahahaha~ mei mei, can i steal your cute clothes?

fluffy fluffy one! haha! Cute kid #5!

(p.s. you can see most of the kids i found cute are girls, haha.. YES, i love little girls! Jayen listen hard, i want a baby girl next time!)
...hmm
pwease??
We went to the Jelly fish aquarium after that!

This was the first time i'm looking at real jelly fish!!! (alive one. Not the one on the cold dish)
wahhhhhh!

amazing stuff!

This is gigantic! Looks abit disgusting. Reminds me of the brains in the movie, Skyline.

After the jelly fishes, we went to see giant pandas!

This is An-An. SO CUTE!!!!! we spent most of our time here looking at her munch the bamboo leaves, keke.. so so so fat and cute!

haha!

drinking from her water bowl, haha

leaving the panda's habitat..

we saw fake ugly pandas, haaa

oh yah, we were lucky to visit Ocean Park that day!! cos there was this mass wedding party where 25 couples, after exchanging their wedding vows and rings, also pledged their support to seahorse conservation for as long as they both should live. ( i didnt know until i watched the HK news that night! No wonder we saw so many couples taking their wedding photos there haha!)

羅志祥 also got married there

wahaha.. no lar, look alike only
Back to the animals, heee.. These 2 were the ones i fell in love with the last time i was here!

finally i got to take their faces! hahaha... these are red pandas, but look more like racoon to me. My favourite animal was racoons when i was young, haha

Its tail look like my house toilet scrub
Pandas again!!! :D This is cute, it's sleeping! hahaa..

They eat and sleep and wake and eat and then sleep again! But no matter how long they sleep, they will still have panda eyes, haa... Ok. lame.
i love Christmas!

candy canes! :) i dont like my fatty face

There were many clowns in the park.. and they scare children!

look at the very traumatised angmoh kid ! She was wailing and shaking all over! Clowns are darn scary! Why are they even asked to make people laugh?? when all they do was look so scary.

dont terrorize the poor boy can?
hehe, the other boy looks cute smiling at her. Cute kid #6!

There was still alot of time to spare so cousin played a round of basketball

and XBox soccer with another boy from our tour group

After that, we took the cable car back to the entrance!

Me and mom :) My hair was in a mess cos there was alot of static electricity, i dont know why! Maybe cos the air was dry, or is it my hair? The fine strands just stick onto both sides of my face and all over my neck and it irritates me! When i use my fingers to comb through my hair, i hear static crackling noise -_-
But the good thing is, my hair doesnt become flat at the end of the day like in humid singapore, YAY!
Time to bid goodbye, Ocean Park! :)

The coach dropped us at Tsim Sha Tsui and we went for our dinner at some HK Roasted Meat eatery :)

Food was tasty! Yeahhh... After that, we shopped awhile along the streets.. There was nothing much to buy. Clothes were all winter wear and shoes were all boots. Buy back to singapore also cannot wear, haha..
So we just bought some souvenirs to bring back home for our folks and that's about it! Took the MTR and LRT (yes, our hotel is darn inaccessible! Need more than an hour to travel from the city back to the hotel)
Yeap, i guess Day 5 would be left to be blogged tomorrow. There are too many photos in this post already. i dont wan my blog to crash, haha! (Day 3 is under "Older Posts" now, hehe!)
Have a good night! ;) and Thank You for reading!
Day 5 (10th December, Thursday)
Time flies and it was finally the last day!
i received a happy sms from jayen that very morning: "Good morning! My ah baby is finally coming home yay love it :)"
-___- hahaaa.. but i feel very happy too that i'm going back, YAY
We had to get ourselves at the HK airport by 4pm, so there wasn't much time to go anywhere at all.
The earlier half of the day was spent taking the MTR to check out places on the MTR map.
Breakfast was at the same old place again, haha.. Luckily they do change the menu!

Love Quaker cereal! i can eat this everyday :)

Almost finished our food by now....

This area was right outside the shopping mall and our hotel..

and it was super super cold in the morning!! :( I was freezing!

Reflection, hehe

i was so glad to be in the sun!!! Cos it makes me feel warm :)

Took the LRT to the MTR station

There wasn't a specific place for us to go, so we took the MTR to some station with a more famous name, haha.. Kowloon
On the MTR

we reached!!! :D

i was sooooo happy to see this!!!! :D

YAY!!!! i'm back here! :D :D It was such a pleasant surprise! I totally forgot the shopping mall, Elements, is at this station!
But.... it was 9.30am in the morning and the shops were not yet opened :(

Here got H&M!!!! but too bad it's too early and we're flying back singapore already. Not fated to shop at H&M haha

the toilet is SUPER GLAMOROUS!

Can chill here, hahaaa.. There is a shoe cleaner and a water dispenser! We ended up playing with the shoe cleaner instead -_-
The inside of the toilet is darn posh! haha

:)

After that, we walked out of the shopping mall into the outdoors and what greeted us was this!

woooooo!!!!! i love this place because....

baby, do you remember here????:D
*i dug this photo collage out, teehehe!*

YAY!! lub lub lub....
omg, i want to cry again :_) haha
I was trying to capture lens flare again, wahahaa!

WAH! ABIT TOO MUCH!
When i showed my dad, he actually said it was nice haha.. but he said i cannot keep shooting at the sun, or else it would fry the .... erm, some part of the camera, he said something very chim and i cannot remember..

This is some bank.. and it looks like a really dynamic working place!

my favourite shot of the day

we were happily enjoying the scenery before we heard the security guard asking an elderly angmoh couple, who was also there taking photographs, to leave cos this was a private working place. There was even a sign that says something like, "No tourists allowed. Private commercial Building"
Apparently, we walked in from the other side and did not see the sign, haha
By 10.30am, we prepared to go back to our hotel to check out already, sad... cos the stupid hotel is soooooo far away.. sian
Something that made me happier was this!!!

I bought a Rilakkuma Candy toy at one of the candy stores in the MTR station! :D

When i press the button behind, the bell can ring! wahaha, so cute
walking such a long way back to transfer to another line...

Waiting for the train

By the time we reached our hotel, there was only half an hour's time for us to check out. We wanted a quick lunch so we tabao McDonalds' back to our hotel to eat while packing our luggage. I actually finished packing my luggage that morning before we headed out, haha.. so i can enjoy my meal in peace back in the hotel :)

Cute kid #7 spotted in McDonalds, hehe! Blur blur one so cute, haha

:) meal

Last few shots taken on the coach on our way to the airport...
Byebye Hongkong

u'll be missed! :)
Checking-in our baggage was such a long wait

We had last minute shopping in the airport.. i was darn happy to see that they sell Disneyland merchandise! I bought Duffy the Disney bear, haha!
I've promised u all a photo of the Duffy i bought, heeee...

Dont know why, i wanted soooo much to get it, hehe
I had to secretly buy it and i managed to cos i was the first to be cleared at the custom! I literally ran to the Disney Merchandise store, grabbed it and ran to the cashier to pay for it, haha!
Cos my mom kept scolding me whenever i wanna buy stuff in HK.. so dad and i had to secretly chop chop buy without her knowledge! haha...
On the plane back

It was so dark already. Reached Changi Airport at 8pm :)
Overall, it was a fun trip, heee.. I didn't expect it to be this fun cos my folks are all quite boring people, wahahha.. No lar, they're just very prim and proper kind, heh... (i'm the crazy one)
Anyway, i'm glad cos it helped bond me and my parents closer together. I think we spent more time bonding during this trip than when we are at home! Cos everybody's so busy with their own stuff.
yeapp.. going on a holiday is always nice :) i do hope to have more of such opportunities to come!
