How did your 2008 go?
The new year has come and like everyone else, I too wish for a good, if not, better year ahead =)
What i deem appropriate to do now is to reflect how 2008 had gone for me. I've heard this phrase so many times-- To Learn, Unlearn and Relearn
hehe.. For life is a learning process, i always believe the challenges that come our way are to mould us into someone better.
The end of the year is definitely a right time for reflection and thanksgiving.
ok, i know i'm 2 days late, haha
The past one year has been great. Hallelujah!
I'm not going to talk about US election, recession and stuff, cos it's all too alien to me. Girls hate current affairs, so i ain't gonna bore u with global stuff.
This entry would just be a recap of memorable events in my life in 2008 or people who have touched my heart in one way or another =)
My Family
one thing major that happened in 2008 was when granny was hospitalised. To concerned friends who asked me how she was, thank you so much! Sorry i didnt do a proper update after that, but granny was down with dengue fever. After a week in the hospital, she was discharged =)
She is recuperating very well at home, and it has definitely brought the family to a higher level as eveyone fusses over her, keke we are now closer than we used to be =)
Though sometimes my mom and i still bicker, i know it's a blessing that i still have her around.

The silly stuff we did the past year.. the most absurb being secretly sewing our names on the cushion couple seats of Lido 1, wahahahaa....
i know it is vandalism, but it is not there already lar... dont go and learn ah! and dont quote me

flew back to Taiwan on our 1st year Anniversary =)
A short getaway at Batam in May...
and lastly, Bintan again last month! =)
Bought a bike with our savings...
and explored many, many places on it! we went out every single day!! record was 63 days in a row haha!

we did almost everything together!
Quit our jobs together, enrol in a school together, cut our hair together, colour them again together, had crazy fun together.....
even things, we buy couple couple, buay tahan!! *but we like! wahahaha....

i'm quite happy they are growing very fast (which also means im ageing very fast) cos then i can crap with them, hahaa!! and bring them go CLUBBING and feel damn old!!! wahahahaa...
cos the very little ones very hard to crap with... the adults will think u are polluting their young minds, so must wait for them to grow up first
Friends and ex-BHPSians
Though we are all very busy people... once in a while when u need some fresh air, meet up with ur kakis!!! haha!
or Bitches!! haha!!
i still miss them, but i DO NOT MISS the school
Babies' bday parties and zouk are better places to be in together than the BHPS, hahaha
Last but not least,
i experimented with the extreme hair colour which i never was allowed to in school --> Blonde (Ash)
and then... after 7 months, i grew tired of dyeing my black roots again, and again and again X100...
it is black (dark ash) now.
Though the crown still looks abit brownish *i wonder why*.. im going to monitor it after a few washes, whether the bottom lightens... if not, may considering DIY dyeing the crown a darker tone again.
But on a happier note, i could still manage to style it like how the stylist did for me after a wash!

i'll love taking this opportunity to thank the people for the wonderful year they had been involved in my life, whether big or small ways =)
